Garden Essence Oils Myrtle
Flower
is suitable for use on young children, especially for
“chesty” infections of the respiratory tract,
whereas many of the other oils that one would normally use for this
type of problem are a bit too strong for young children.
Myrtle is also
slightly sedative, which makes it ideal for use at night, whereas other
similar oils like eucalyptus are stimulating and are therefore not so
good to use at night.
Myrtle
Flower oil is also sometimes used for skin
conditions, like acne, oily skin, etc, and for this it is also very
gentle, and it has astringent and anti-allergy properties. It is also
sometimes used for treating head lice in children.
