Hawthorn might lower BP with exercise

    Cons:
I had BP around 230! The doctor considered it an emergency and I was put on blood pressure medicine. It went down to 170 over maybe around 100. But it made me feel terrible, I mean really bad. Then I heard that Hawthorn berries worked on blood pressure. So I stopped taking my medicine and started taking this syrup. I found that if I took long walks it did not lower my BP or if I took this syrup by itself nothing happened either. However, if I first took Hawthorn, taking one tablespoon, then I walked for three miles that the BP started to come down. I did that up to twice a day. It did not work if I walked first and then took the hawthorn! I found that I had to walk with the Hawthorn in my body. One other thing. Hawthorn can be overcome by what you eat. So I found that I had to eat carefully. I ate vegan with low fat, etc. If I ate something that affected my BP, I wouldn't eat that any more. Initially Hawthorn brought it down to 160 -179 just like the medicine. But it got better and better I now get in the 150s over 80s. But I have also measured 130s and 140s occasionally. But then I do something wrong, I eat something I should not have, and my blood pressure goes back to 170 again and I have to work it down again. I'm 65.

    So tasty!
